DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF GOODS AND/OR SERVICES

The Steam Masters (PTY) LTD is a wholesale, manufacturer, importer and distribution company of electronic cigarettes and e-liquids to the retail industry. 

 

DELIVERY POLICY

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 24 hours during weekdays being Monday to Friday and delivery/tracking number will be confirmed by way of email.

 

EXPORT RESTRICTION

The offering on this website is available to South African clients only unless authorized by management.

 

RETURNS AND REFUNDS PROCEDURE AND GENERAL CONDITIONS

The dreaded return policy… This is the awkward conversation that no vape shop / supplier wants to have with their customers.

Look, we want you to be happy, satisfied, and to become part of the Steam Family. And if you know us, you’ll know that we’ll do just about everything in our power to make sure of that.

But at the end of the day, we’re limited by the policies of our suppliers and manufacturers. And unless we want to go out of business, our own policies have to reflect these limitations.

So please read our return policy carefully.

Unfortunately, E-Liquids, nicotine & cotton once opened cannot be returned due to the nature of the product.

There is no refund on commercial coils.

Disposables are regarded as consumable items. There is no return on disposable devices. You and I have no control of how that device is used once it leaves your store. Also from a hygiene perspective in this day and age, it is impossible to test. It is not putting the blame game on the customer but the variances in how one uses e-liquid, pods, coils and disposables is drastically different.

The way a customer uses a device will influence battery life, liquid usage, and coil life. We have staff that use two pods a day and others with pods that last a few days. So please explain to your customers, put a sign up in-store and add to your website that there is no warranty on disposables once it leaves the store.

We all want our customers to be happy and letting them know upfront on the policy avoids any issues. Devices dead in-store or leakage in sealed packaging is a total different scenario and will fall under warranty. Those devices would need to be shipped back to us along with your order number for us to evaluate and would then be credited to your account.

Please note that orders placed and not paid unless by prior arrangement with management that have not been paid within 24 hours from the time of purchase shall be cancelled without written confirmation. Please note it is your responsibility to forward proof of payment to sales@steammasters.co.za and we strongly suggest that you do not rely on the banking apps to do so.

The Purchaser shall inspect the goods on arrival and must notify Steam Masters within 7 working days via email from the date of delivery if any goods are damaged and items not received. Please do not open any goods without checking them to be correct first.

Should the purchaser fail to do this it shall be deemed as goods accepted. If the purchaser wants to return any goods for whatever reason the purchaser may do so within 7 days of receipt of the goods. All goods must be in an unused condition.

Steam Masters will refund or replace the goods, however, Steam Masters will not be liable for the refund on shipping expenses unless it is due to an error on our behalf. Should there be a claim for a manufacture default the goods will be returned by the purchaser to Steam Masters for replacement after receiving confirmation from Steam Masters.

If the item is found to have a manufacturing fault and is within the warranty period the item will be repaired or replaced unless due to user negligence. Please note that as per the Consumer Protection Act Steam Masters is allowed up to 2 weeks to check the device and return it to the purchaser. However, every effort will be taken to lessen the time frame as possible.

Goods in transit from the purchaser to Steam Masters remains the client’s responsibility until signed for at our premises. All goods returned must contain all relevant parts along with original order number and or proof of purchase.

Should goods be found to have been damaged due to user negligence costs of transportation back to the purchaser is at the purchaser’s expense.

Steam Masters abides by the manufactures warranty and no warranty claim will be processed if the purchaser has misused the product or not abided by the instruction laid out by the manufacturer.

We offer a 7-day refund policy where should the purchaser feel the product has a fault we will exchange it. Refunds are only issued after all other recourses have been taken to rectify the problem with the purchaser, should the purchaser require a refund then the cost of getting the product back to Steam Masters is at the purchaser expense and refunds will be processed on receipt of the goods. The goods must arrive with all components and must be returned in good condition.

Regrettably, no returns or refunds will be entertained on sale items.

 

CUSTOMER PRIVACY POLICY

The Steam Masters (PTY) LTD shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

PAYMENT OPTIONS ACCEPTED

Payment may be made by bank transfer into The Steam Masters bank account, the details of which will be provided on request or will reflect once an online transaction is completed.

 

MERCHANT OUTLET COUNTRY AND TRANSACTION CURRENCY

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

 

RESPONSIBILITY

The Steam Masters (PTY) LTD takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS

In the event that a Steam Masters product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Steam Masters reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for said product. Steam Masters reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Steam Masters shall issue a credit to your account for the amount charged.

 

COUNTRY OF DOMICILE

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and The Steam Masters (PTY) LTD chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature,

The Steam Masters (PTY) LTD may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

 

USE OF SITE 

Harassment in any manner or form on the site, including via email, chat, or by use of obscene or abusive language, is strictly forbidden. Impersonation of others, including a Steam Masters employee, other licensed employee, host or representative is prohibited. You may not upload to, distribute, or otherwise public through the site any content which is libellous, defamatory, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy or public rights, abusive illegal, or otherwise objectionable with may constitute or encourage a criminal offence, violate the rights of any party of which may otherwise give rise to liability or violate any law. You may not upload commercial content on the site or use the site to solicit other so to join or become members of any other commercial online service or other organisation 

 

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Steam Masters, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors and suppliers (collectively the “Service Providers”) from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, resulting from any violation of these terms and conditions or any activity related to your account (including negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person accessing the site using your internet account
